We are super excited to inform you that the long wait is finally over, presenting you the very first alpha release of EasyArticles.
For those who are not sure of what EasyArticles is, you can refer to this introductory blog posted by Mark previously. Alternatively, you can also refer to my previous blog post as most of the features were already mentioned there, as we would like to keep this post as brief as possible.
As always, we strongly do not recommend installing the Alpha release on a live site but on a staging or development site instead. For all bug reports, do utilize our forums so our devs and support guys are aware of them and will get those fixed as soon as possible.
We are still accepting pre-orders now for the next 3 days. This will be your final chance to get a copy at such an affordable price. Act fast, because those prices won’t stay the same for long…

When building up a plan for Q3, we based our roadmap on your feedback and suggestions, which we have been gathering and analyzing over the previous quarter. Aligning the list of the most sought-after features and your vision of our product with our planned development direction, we decided to focus on the following updates in Q3:
Improvements of Ning platform`s functionality:
Paid Access. The full release of this update will include Stripe integration in response to your feedback. Network creators will be able to set paid access to certain sections of their networks, monetize specific content (events, webinars, user-generated content with high rating), and get donations.
Audio. Many of you claimed the priority of this update, so this functionality will be delivered soon.
Release of Polls feature. After the release of Search, this functionality often got listed among top priorities for the development. We remember that we promised to get it to you, so our dev team is already working on it.
We will also be adding smaller updates that you were asking for on Creators Network, such as:
HTML5 (instead of Flash player)
Design studio tweaks
UI/UX improvement for mobile devices
Another aspect that we will touch upon is the overall usability of the product. We are already working in multiple directions in this regard – starting with Blog redesign…

Today we are releasing bbPress 2.5.13, which fixes a few small bugs we’ve noticed since 2.5.12 was released, and also adds some sanitization to anonymous user data that went missing from previous versions.
If your site allows anonymous users (users without registered accounts) to create topics & replies in your forums, you’ll want to upgrade to 2.5.13 right away. This feature is not very widely used on public forums because spammers very aggressively target these kinds of sites, but for communities that rely on this feature, please know you can safely upgrade to 2.5.13 without any issues.
Also, remember that since bbPress 2.5.12, the minimum WordPress version allowed is 4.7. If you need to user a previous version of WordPress, you will want to continue to use 2.5.11.
bbPress 2.6 is still in the release candidate phase while we tie up some loose ends across WordPress.org, but I’ll let you know when it’s ready to go!

Healthcare industry page launched
One of our major goals this year is to highlight the power of Drupal in key industries. The Drupal.org industry pages highlight the story of building a custom-tailored solution for each industry using third-party integrations, expert hosting, or even purpose built distributions for the industry. Each page also highlights case studies which show demonstrated success stories using Drupal in each industry. In June we’ve launched our latest industry page, highlighting the Healthcare industry…

Weekend Update: Developer Preview 3 With JomSocial’s Chat Feature Shaping Up And You Can Try It Today!
Published on July 21, 2017
As you might already know from our previous entries here and in this blog post too, the entire JomSocial team is focusing on finalizing Chat feature that has been with us from the start in the form of Inbox, but it always stayed like that, never getting the update attention it deserves.
That’s why we are taking bold effort to make this update worthwhile and deliver the most robust and stable chat system that you can’t find anywhere else.
WHERE CAN I SEE IT?
You can actually download and install development preview 3 version on your own site although we don’t advise you to do that. Instead create the shadow copy backup or install the test site on localhost and play there. Simply download the latest version of JomSocial, and once unzipped, the development preview installer will be there…
